AMP speaks of organisational synergies, cost synergies or growth synergies. These are actively promoted in the context of cooperations with our customers. This includes through the formation of interdisciplinary project groups.

Accountability

For AMP, accountability means three things: transparency, traceability and service delivery. Every AMP employee is charged with the task of being able to explain to the client at any time how the order is being executed, how resources are being utilised and to what extent specified goals have been achieved.

Integrity

While legitimate interactions between medical professionals and the healthcare industry can hugely improve the quality of patient care, it is important to recognise that this gives rise to potential conflicts of interest. This is why we strictly adhere to the codes of practice published by the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), Eucomed, The European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA).

The story of Association Management Partners (AMP)

AMP Health was founded in 2013 by Gabriella Skala, an experienced professional Managing Director in the healthcare sector who recognized the need for a new approach to establishing and coordinating collaborations in the industry. With a deep understanding of the complexities of medical science, medical associations, and the healthcare industry, the team at AMP Health set out to bridge the gaps between these stakeholders and create a more integrated and efficient system.


Over the years, AMP has become a valued partner providing comprehensive and integrated packages of services designed to help clients focus on their core competencies without distraction. Gabriella Skala

CEO

Gabriella Skala is an internationally experienced managing director with over 25 years of expertise in life sciences. She is passionate about building companies and guiding them through strategic transformations. Gabriella founded AMP Health a decade ago, dedicated to providing services to medical experts and the pharmaceutical and medtech industries.


As an active council member at WEConnect International and a member of the Verband der Deutscher Unternehmerinnen (VdU) international commission, Gabriella is committed to collaborating closely with colleagues and serving as a strategic partner for Board Member clients, advising and negotiating contracts with industry leaders.


With a profound understanding of physicians’ needs, Gabriella focuses on Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement to raise awareness, disseminate scientific value, and establish brand recognition when introducing new medical advancements. She is a firm believer in continuous professional development, empowering young medical professionals, and contributing to the growth of their specialties.


Gabriella’s extensive career includes roles at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. in Corporate Communication and Public Affairs, leading the strategic development and organizational transformation of the European Federation of Orthopedics and Traumatology (EFORT) head office, and positioning and growing the European School for Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology (ESASO) into a globally recognized training institution for ophthalmologists and industry partners.


Gabriella holds a dual degree Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales in Cardiff (UK) and the GSBA in Zürich (Switzerland). She also completed executive education at INSEAD Fontainebleau in France and is fluent in German, English, Czech, Italian, and French.

Patrick Knüsel worked for over 15 years at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte as an auditor and consultant. His clients were operating in various industries and ranged from start-ups and small and medium enterprises to non-profit organisations and the world’s largest companies headquartered in Switzerland.

He advised his clients on incorporation matters, finance & accounting, corporate governance, taxes, reporting structures, risk management, mergers and process improvements.

Patrick is a Swiss-certified public accountant and holds an MBA from IMD, Lausanne. He is fluent in German, English, Spanish and French.

Jennifer Green

Scientific Director

Jennifer Green has over 15 years of experience in medical education and communications. She holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Liverpool in the UK, and was a postdoctoral researcher prior to her move into medical communications.

With her scientific and editorial background, Jennifer particularly enjoys translating complex scientific concepts and data into a diverse array of accessible educational materials.


Jennifer’s years of experience in collaborating with health care professionals and the pharmaceutical industry on medical education projects, advisory boards, scientific congresses and other meetings means that Jennifer will provide a valuable contribution to all levels of a project, from top-level strategic input to the minutiae of content delivery.

Karin Gleichner is a professional graphic designer and art director and holds a Master of Advanced Studies in “Arts, Design & Innovation” from the FHNW Academy of Art and Design in Basel, Switzerland.

During the last 30 years, Karin has worked in Switzerland, Belgium and Asia. Her key focus is corporate identity development, strategic branding and graphic design, as well as the conception and implementation of on- and offline projects and campaigns. Whenever possible, Karin produces responsible, ecologically and climate-friendly outcomes.

Karin combines a strategic way of working with an intuitive access to design projects. The authentic expression of the customer’s identity is always the ultimate goal.

She is fluent in German, English, French and Spanish.

Prior to that, she worked in the hotel, cosmetics and recruitment sectors. Jay is originally from the Philippines and is actively involved in supporting the overseas Filipino community in Europe through volunteer work. She has a BS Tourism degree from the University of the Philippines, speaks English and Filipino, and has a working knowledge of French.

Prior to that, she worked in the hotel, cosmetics and recruitment sectors. Jay is originally from the Philippines and is actively involved in supporting the overseas Filipino community in Europe through volunteer work. She has a BS Tourism degree from the University of the Philippines, speaks English and Filipino, and has a working knowledge of French.
